Travelling in my Mind – Monnaber Vell, Mallorca

Monnaber Vell is the place I would actually love to hold a seminar. Just as Longitude 131 I have hever actually been to this place. Unlike Longitude 131 it is probable that I will, at some point. You can see already that I have a preference for hotels that are situated rather quietly or very exclusively. Monnaber Vell is situated very nicely in the North of the Balearic Island Mallorca, in the Tramontana Region. Mallorca is widely know as a party-spot while simultaneously loved by the rich as well as the ’normal‘ people for it’s beautiful hinterland. Monnaber Vell belongs to the latter. The next town is Campanet. If you crave the sea (who doesn’t from time to time?) you can be there quickly because Campanet is just about 10 km away from Alcudia.

I am so in love with this hotel! I love the situation, everything speaks to me. I love the rooms. Take a look at every one of them! They are just excuisite! And it’s small. Something very exclusive and quiet but offering every possible treat.

Can you imagine holding a Creativity Seminar there? I could! The place is inspiring, the right mix between the traditional and the modern (the house dates back to the 1200s), it feels warm to me. And of course Mallorca is very interesting and home to more than one artist. Imagine being there with a group of budding artists, taking a time-out with an in-built course, connecting with your creativity. You’d appreciate the silence during meditations or yoga. You’d be inspired by the atmosphere of the resort and the local artists, you’re visiting. You’d love a fun-time at Alcudia as a treat for yourself after work. You’d enjoy the good food, a massage, the sounds of the bells the  over 300 sheep make and the luxury of a beautifil room. If I ever do hold such a seminar, that will be the place…

As I haven’t seen this place with my own eyes, yet, I can’t have taken the pictures. These are lent from the Homepage of Monnaber Vell. Go take a look! You’ll love not only the house but also the website!
